It's like Herding Cats!

Riding to the beach today in search of mushrooms, I had a parade of three children and myself. I am training IIsa,6, to ride safely. Not an easy job. A neighbor, having noticed (heard) my ignored commands called out me " It's like herding cats!"
I couldn't have said it better!
